INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 Stefano’s Italian classic sausages (cut in 3 pieces) *
  • 1 large white onion, diced
  • 1 little peperoncini, according to our own taste
  • 1/2 bulb of large fennel, diced 
  • 8oz of red wine 
  • 1 liter of Stefano arrabbiata sauce or basil sauce
  • 4 tbsp of olive oil 

PREPARATION:

  1. Heat the olive oil in a 24 cm saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion, peperoncini and fennel and turn up the heat.
  3. Once the onions are golden, add the sausages and cook until browned.
  4. Add the wine and cook until completely evaporated. Mix well.
  5. Add the tomato sauce and reduce the temperature to medium, continuing to cook uncovered for 20 minutes.
  6. Excellent with a delicious polenta.
    Also delicious with pasta.
