INGREDIENTS:
- 5 tbsp. Stefano’s olive oil
- 2 whole garlic cloves, halved and degermed
- 1 jar of Stefano’s tomato basil sauce or 1 liter of homemade tomato sauce
- 6-8 basil leaves
- Salt
PREPARATION:
- Heat the olive oil in a 24 cm Granit pan.
- Cook the garlic cloves until they are golden
- Add the tomato sauce and cook for 10-15 minutes
- Add the whole basil leaves
- Cook for 5 minutes
- Take the garlic pieces and crush them with a fork
- Return to the sauce and season with salt.
* Arrabiata sauce: add 1 tbsp of hot pepper oil
* Rosé sauce: add ½ cup of cream 35%
