INGREDIENTS:
- 1 calzone dough recipe
- 200 gr of fresh ricotta
- 150 gr of ham
- 1/2 cup of mozzarella
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup of parmesan
- Salt and pepper
PREPARATION:
- Preheat the oven at 400F
- Cut the ham in small dice
- Mix all ingredients
- Spread the dough and cut into small circles
- Place a portion of the mixture in the center and fold the dough in a semicircle
- Press edges to seal the calzones
- Brush with egg white
- Bake 20 minutes in the oven
*Calzones can be frozen. Bake for only 10 minutes, cool on a rack and then freeze. Place frozen calzones on a parchment-lined cookie sheet and bake in a preheated 400F oven for 10 minutes.
