INGREDIENTS:
- 370g flour 00
- 180g of butter at room temperature
- 100g of sugar
- 50ml Martin Picard’s maple syrup
- 1 egg
For the icing:
- 100g powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons of water
PREPARATION:
- Preheat the oven at 375 F
- In a bowl, mix the butter in small cubes, sugar, egg, and flour until you get a crumbly ball of dough.
- Let rest for 15 minutes.
- Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out to a thickness of 1/2 centimeter.
- Then cut out with your cookie cutter the shape you want.
- Place the cookies on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 12 minutes, until golden brown.
- Let cool.
- Mix powdered sugar and water, put in a piping bag and decorate your cookies.
