INGREDIENTS:

  • 370g flour 00
  • 180g of butter at room temperature
  • 100g of sugar
  • 50ml Martin Picard’s maple syrup
  • 1 egg

For the icing:

  • 100g powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of water

PREPARATION:

  1. Preheat the oven at 375 F
  2. In a bowl, mix the butter in small cubes, sugar, egg, and flour until you get a crumbly ball of dough.
  3. Let rest for 15 minutes.
  4. Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out to a thickness of 1/2 centimeter.
  5. Then cut out with your cookie cutter the shape you want.
  6. Place the cookies on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12 minutes, until golden brown.
  8. Let cool.
  9. Mix powdered sugar and water, put in a piping bag and decorate your cookies.
