The mechanism is simple: a latch, positioned at the base of the blade, which is pushed upwards to unlock the blade, and downwards to lock it. So you can handle your knives in complete safety.

Le Thiers® Verrou pocket knives feature an X50CrMoV15 stainless steel blade. This clever formula gives the steel a good compromise between flexibility, making the blade easily resharpenable, and hardness, reaching 56-57 HRC on the Rockwell scale to ensure a certain durability of the cutting edge.
