Purists know not to use just any knife to cut cheese. But which cheese knife should you use for soft cheeses? If you’re looking to create beautiful slices of cheese that will surprise your guests, we recommend the Laguiole XXL cheese knife.
This XXL cheese knife is fitted with spikes at the end of the blade to make serving cheese easier. It also features holes on the blade to prevent the material from sticking. This is particularly useful for runny cheeses such as Camembert!
Aesthetically, the famous holes we mentioned earlier form the word “cheese” on the blade, which is both playful and original.
French-made and above all artisanal, this knife was designed in the workshops of Master Cutler Claude Dozorme.
Technical characteristics :
The XXL cheese knife from our Berlingot range is equipped with a stainless steel rivet and a half-silk blade with heat treatment.
The X46Cr13 stainless steel we use for its manufacture is of very high quality. Its rockwell hardness is between 54 and 56 HCR.
Its dimensions are 11 centimetres for the handle and 10.5 centimetres for the blade. In total, our artisanal knife is 21.5 centimetres long.
Our table accessories are all made in France. Each step, from design to assembly, is carried out in our workshop.
Not dishwasher safe. Softly wash the blade and dry it immediately. Never leave the knife into the water.
