CLASSIC PIZZELLE

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup of Stefano’s olive oil
  • 2 tbsp of aniseed
  • 2 tbsp. baking powder
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1 ½ cups of sugar
  • A pinch of salt

CHOCOLATE PIZZELLE

  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup of Stefano’s olive oil
  • ½ cup Valrhona cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp. baking powder
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1 ½ cups of sugar
  • A pinch of salt

PREPARATION:

  1. In a bowl, sift together flour and baking powder. Set aside
  2. In another bowl, beat remaining ingredients together until smooth.
  3. (Use the hand of your stand mixer or an egg beater)
  4. Add flour to wet ingredients and mix well. Refrigerate for a minimum of 3 hours.
  5. Using 2 spoons, drop 1 tbsp of mixture in the center. Bake according to your pizza maker’s instructions.
