INGREDIENTS:

– 2 cups of fresh basil leaves

– 3 tablespoons of pine nuts

– 2 large garlic cloves

– 2 teaspoons of grated parmesan cheese

– 1/4 cup of Stefano’s extra virgin olive oil

PREPARATION:

  1. In a food processor, combine the basil, pine nuts, garlic cloves, and grated parmesan cheese. 
  2. Process the ingredients until they are finely chopped and well combined.
  3. While the food processor is running, slowly pour in the Stefano’s extra virgin olive oil. 
  4. Continue processing until the mixture reaches a pesto-like texture. 
  5. If desired, you can adjust the consistency by adding a little water to dilute the mixture.

Note: You may use less olive oil if desired, and adjust the texture according to your preference.
